It was the most exciting news we have ever received in between Ramadhan and Syawal.. the birth of the first child of my sis Fao and bro-in-law, Houssam... baby Adam in Surrey, UK on the eve of Eid
Back in Msia on Wed, ever since Fao smsed me that her "water broke" that Wed.. the news went off to our siblings and close relatives less than 8 mins if you wish to compare my sms's speed and Dr Mus's blasted off to the orbit!!!
We waited anxiously, and prayed both of Fao and baby were fine.. Wed.. Thu.. Fri.. still no news.. Felt like putting myself on to the first flight to LHR to be with my sis.. pay 10% from the tix-thank god am still enjoying the perks from my other half! what is there to compare to be with my sis who might be in pain.. ponder, ponder and ponder.. Me, being the "moderator" between Fao and our siblings, was sooo bloody tenseful!
Suddenly at 8:30pm, Abg Houssam smsed, "Adam was born 2 hrs ago.. He and Fao are ok.. From Houssam and Fao".. Finally!! and Alhamdulillah.. eerr Adam?! I thought he supposed to be Ryan/Rahyan something Arabic name.. Anyway, whatevah.. as long as my sis Fao and Adam are all ok.. again, my smses "Orbitting the M'sian Airspace" and to the rest of the families, neighbours and friends..
Though the birth was normal, you guys don't wanna know how Adam came out like.. No thanks!
So, Adam.. pray hard so that Maksu and Uncle Zoni could see you soon! But for duit raya, do we have to give in pounds still uh?! gulpp..

 still can't believe awin is married now.. gosh, wish could enter the time tunnel and go to our childhood time.. living in this wonderful neighbourhood, play together, mengaji together..
still remember our family baby-sitted awin, while makcik siti and pakcik engku at work.. with her gordilocks hair and her favourite tv commercial.. "tanya sama lalat, kenapa engkau datang, nanti jawab lalat... sampah kau BUANGG.." she would sing the song, again and again and again...
now, awin is married!!!
awin, we love you and will always right behind you.... halim, take care of our awin and now is your awin with extra extra and extra TLC.. ok!

our dear mojo would just love to help daddy changing the water in the aquarium.. it needs change atleast twice a month.. he just knew it, once daddy took the long hose from the store room.. yehaaa!! off he goes to the aquarium!
and now, Allah SWT has given our precious mojo 9kg of nothing but good health, rezkis to our home and lots of happiness to both of us!!!
so, lets see mojo and his house chore so to speak..

it simply amazes me when some people could hold on to his childhood friendship for so long.. after 35 years
i remembered that we went to one of his friend's wedding, nick as "mamak".. followed by another friend's wedding, nick as "kodok".. and recently, "norzam and fifi"
wow! can't hardly remember when did fifi first made her appearance within our 'lepak' group.. she was obviously not during the childhood years, or school days, or not even during the era of Club Mini Boys (CMB)..
but, somehow, we actually had felt the chemistry between them.. can't tell much about fifi, however, norzam is more a layback kinda person who you could ask for any "help" from.. he is now busy with his "chicken" and play with his paintballs shooting the rats at his "reban" in raub!..
so here they are..

the jaafar's family tree..

today, we had small gathering among the siblings of jaafar's.. fao came back holidaying in m'sia with her abg arab, houssam.. and also the half (in the stomach!)
it was a huge surprise though.. SWEEEETT.. no one knows about their return except muuahahahahahaaa.. (giant ketawa besar).. we were the culprit (ngaku pulak tuh).. oh btw also, my sis in law, niza who must do the cookin ofcoz!.. the dishes were - nasi lemak what else.. the high colesterol stuff!
baby will due in oct.. let it be 31st! fazzoni junior! HAHA
however, no pix of them except the goofies who kidnapped my camera!!!

KUL-SIN-KUL by NICE luxury bus

it has been sooooooo long since i last wrote in.. done with my final papers for the semester .. hip hip hoorayy!!
it was couple of weeks before the final, we went to s'pore.. yep! my last was in 1996! now is 2007.. i knoowww it has been ages, and s'pore has always been like 'that'.. except orchards+scotts.. wow!! the obvious part is the wide open field where the our filipino frens used to lepak and meet the geng that sewaktu dgn nya during weekends! lucky nannys.. they do get weekends off in their contract ya know!
anyway.. the ultimate spots we always wanted to visit are the nite safaris and the sentosa.. AWESOME! specially the nite safaris..
however, we missed the other part of s'pore where the makan spots are! ya know.. i heard about the famous 'putu piring' and the 'red soupy'.. yum yum..
it took the whole evening at nite safari, and the whole day at the sentosa.. yes, lots of things and nice scenery..
so my adv is.. plan your trip, travel lite, heyy.. try the luxury coach.. the one i took was NICE and they are based at the KTM station.. the next thing ya know.. oila s'pore!! see the country side once a while.. rather than the - err clouds, it gets bumpy at times okay..
so scrap your negative tots and add some values - say hi to neighbor.. m'sia boleh!

another balik kg trip. visited foster family in capetown. family of uncle latief, untie fatima and their son riyaad. a beautiful family, that simply adoreable.
malay cape, yes, we have malays in capetown. they simply love malaysia. wonder, were they once originated from the malay archipelago? could they be the result from migration or the separation, caused of the rempah ratus business within straits of malacca once upon a time ago-ya know hang lipo? parameswara? sultan mansur syah?!
a place where "nandos" originally came from. tell you what, they blends and taste so much better.
the view? breathtaking! this time around, visited the country side of capetown. the wine yards, the orchards, etc.
not forgetting, you will feel like home. the sign of HALAL is everywhere.. meaning, we don't have to "tapau" food from m'sia y'all! eat all you can.. try the seafood, try lobster!
